On 15 March 2011, the British Bankers' Association launched its Better Business Finance website to provide business with resources on accessing finance and specifically information about the banks' lending guidelines and appeals process. The website also provides details of a regional event programme to enable businesses to talk directly to the UK's bigger banks. These actions have originated from the recommendations of the BBA's Business Finance Taskforce's report, issued in October 2010, on ways to improve businesses' access to finance.
