The Corporate team at Lexis®PSL have published their latest Market Tracker Trend Report, AGM season 2015. The report analyses the latest market practice and trends emerging from the 2015 season of AGMs held by the companies in the FTSE 350. In preparing the report, they reviewed the annual reports and AGM notices of 251 of the FTSE 350 and looked at the voting results at their AGMs.

It is split into three main sections, covering:

  • Narrative reporting: a look at the latest developments in the narrative reporting disclosures made in annual reports and accounts.
  • AGM notices: a consideration of the resolutions proposed at AGMs.
  • Voting and trends: an analysis of any interesting results at AGMs and identify any notable patterns in shareholder voting, particularly significant votes against resolutions.

The report includes expert commentary from Peter Swabey, Policy & Research Director at the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and James Herbert, Legal Director at Eight Roads (the proprietary investment arm of Fidelity International).
