On 24 March Chief Executives from the top stockbroking firms attended a dinner hosted by the Quoted Companies Alliance to discuss the small and mid-cap market. Anthony Hilton of the Evening Standard started off the discussion with his views on the financial crisis and the sector. Winterflood Securities Ltd sponsored the evening which was also attended by QCA President Brian Winterflood.
The dinner provided a unique opportunity for competing firms to discuss common ground and highlight any issues we should be exploring to improve the market place. The Stockbrokers’ Dinner will be held annually and we will be announcing the 2012 date soon.
