In early June, the Takeover Panel published a consultation paper reviewing certain aspects of the regulation of takeover bids, following from the takeover of Cadbury by Kraft Foods. The QCA has a working group made up of representatives from the Markets and Regulations, Legal and Executive Committee to look at the suggestions.
